How to get a listing featured on The Full Ask.
The Full Ask is a curated marketplace and editorial platform for design-led residential real estate, published from New York. Every property is chosen one at a time and published with researched context — the architect, the build year, the building's history — alongside the listing facts and the photography. Each one runs as a post on Instagram, where the account is @thefullask, and has a permanent page on thefullask.com that routes buyer inquiries directly to the listing agent.
It is for listing agents, owners and developers with a property worth looking at, in New York City, the Hamptons, upstate New York and California. Each region has its own Instagram account. The best time to reach us is before a listing goes live.
What a post is, and what it costs
A post is a collaborator post on Instagram, so it runs on your profile as well as ours: a curated carousel with a custom cover, a hand-written caption, a permanent property page on thefullask.com, and every inquiry routed to you. It is scheduled within seven days of photo approval.
A post costs from $400, priced by what the property asks: under $5 million, $400; $5 million to $10 million, $500; $10 million and up, $600. Post with everything adds $550 to any of those and brings priority, which is live within 24 hours of photo approval, the three-frame Instagram Story, newsletter placement and a report for your seller. Five posts are $1,400 through October 15, then $1,750; ten posts are $3,500, with the newsletter on every one. Both are prepaid at any asking price, with priority on every post. The Membership is $750 a month on a twelve-month term: two posts a month with everything on each, $375 a post, for your whole team, twenty seats. Every price is printed at thefullask.com/pricing.
How to submit
Send the property through thefullask.com/submit-property: the listing, the photography, and the post you want. A person reads every submission and replies either way. Paying books the work, not the decision. If the property is chosen, we pull the photography at full resolution from the source, research the building, write the post and the page, and schedule it within seven days of photo approval, or within 24 hours with priority. If we decline, the payment is refunded in full.
What qualifies
What qualifies is a reason to stop scrolling: a named architect, an interior somebody designed rather than staged, a conversion with its industrial bones intact, a farmhouse that has not been flipped. Price is not the filter. Roughly one in ten properties we look at makes it. Every property is reviewed and approved before it runs. The Full Ask is curated. We reserve the right to decline any submission, and refund it in full if we do. The edit is not for sale; what is for sale is placement, and it never buys its way into the edit.
Where inquiries go
A buyer inquiry goes to the listing agents, directly, at the addresses we have verified against the brokerage, with us copied so we know the introduction happened. We do not sell leads, and we never pass a buyer's details to anyone not on that listing.
The audience
@thefullask had 31,375 Instagram followers on October 6, and across the 116 posts of the trailing 30 days a post averaged 51,079 views, with a median of 24,131. 66% of the audience is in the United States and 26.2% in New York, read October 5. The Sunday letter opens at 65.2% and clicks at 15.2%, read September 10; we publish the letter's rates and not its size.
