1389 Highway 212

County records date the stone house on Route 212 to 1779, one of the eighteenth-century farmhouses that still mark the road between Saugerties and Woodstock. Its present chapter began in May 2017, when the musician Greg Cornell and the film producer Sarah Johnson bought the farm for $2,897,000 and named it White Feather Farm, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working the fields under Real Organic Project certification.

The reconstructed post-and-beam barn, its hand-hewn frame re-raised on site and fitted with oversized glass doors by an earlier owner, a photographer, became the Broken Wing Barn, named for a song Cornell and Johnson wrote together. It has since held hundred-person concerts, Woodstock Film Festival events, a Stonewall Inn piano-bar pop-up with Woodstock Pride, and the farm's spring maple-sugaring festivals.

The farmhouse runs 6,923 square feet under original hand-hewn beams and wide-plank floors, restored around a chef's kitchen and four bedrooms, several of them principal suites. A heated yoga studio, a wood-fired oven, and three wood stoves fill out the main house, while a guest cottage and a separate one-bedroom apartment take the overflow.

The 65 acres hold organic fields, orchards, wetlands, and a spring-fed pond, with a sugarbush the farm still taps each spring. A Hartley Botanic greenhouse imported from England sits on radiant-heated bluestone floors beside a second working greenhouse, and the practical layer is already in place: well, generator, and EV charging. Route 212 runs straight into Woodstock in one direction and the village of Saugerties in the other.
