The house sits in a grassy clearing in Stony Hill Forest, on the Amagansett side of East Hampton, with a forest preserve on the far side of the trees. Three glass walls look onto the lawn, so the living room, the kitchen and each of the three bedrooms open to the oaks; the fourth side, toward the drive, is a wall of western red cedar fins. The season runs June 1 to August 21, 2027 at $115,000, or June for $30,000, July for $50,000 and August for $35,000.

Red Dirt Road runs between Accabonac Road and the Amagansett woods, and the 3.2 acres here back onto the Stony Hill trails. The trees are white oak, with eastern red cedar and pitch pine among them. A gravel drive comes in through the woods and stops at the cedar wall; the house is a single story, twelve feet tall, with a flat roof and no visible walls, and from the lawn the whole length of it reads as one frame of blond wood and glass.

The lawn slopes down from a bluestone patio off the living room to a heated gunite pool at the edge of the trees. Bay beaches and the ocean beaches at Amagansett are both a short drive. In the evening the pavilion lights from inside, and the wood ceiling shows through the glass the length of the house.
