240 Centre Street #6N, the apartment the listing calls the radio room, has just sold in The Police Building. It sits beneath the north dome of Manhattan's former Police Headquarters, its bedroom set inside the dome itself, under fourteen-foot ceilings and a skylight framed by the building's Baroque spire.

Hoppin and Koen finished the Beaux-Arts headquarters in 1909, its gilded copper dome modeled loosely on the Hotel des Invalides in Paris; the department left in 1973, and the building became apartments in 1988. Calvin Klein once owned the grand apartment in the clock dome overhead. The renovation of this one is the work of RAAD Studio, the practice of architect James Ramsey.
