49 Huntington Lane

The modernist register records 49 Huntington Lane as the Jack Russell House, 1956, designed by Peter Blake with Julian Neski, and notes it was still in the Russell family as of 2020. Blake had finished his own Water Mill house, the Pinwheel House, in 1954 on Rose Hill Road: two bedrooms, sliding walls on all four sides, later expanded in 1998 to roughly 3,000 square feet and five bedrooms. The Russell house is the second of the pair and the one that stayed in one family. Julian Neski, who drew it with Blake, went on with Barbara Neski to build a long run of South Fork houses under their own name; the listing credits Blake alone.

Three bedrooms, two full baths, furnished, hardwood, no central air and no pool. The listing gives no square footage.
