65 Nobadeer Avenue

Nobadeer is the working end of Nantucket's south shore, the beach where the island's surf break concentrates and where aircraft on approach to Nantucket Memorial cross the dune line on their way in. The house called Runaway sits above it on 0.58 acres, a cottage of 1985 with its own stairs running down the bluff to the sand, three miles from town.

Four bedrooms and two baths in roughly 1,800 square feet, fully furnished. The primary bedroom and a full bath hold the first floor; a queen, a full, and a bunk room with four twins sleep the floor above, ten in all. The kitchen was recently renovated, and the living, dining, and family rooms run together toward the water, with a sun room and a screened porch off the main spaces and 180 degrees of Atlantic in the frame. Central air, Sonos, an outdoor shower, a gas grill, and a fire pit; beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella come with the house, and there is parking for six cars. The listing notes the property is also available for special events and weddings.

Runaway rents fully furnished by the week, Saturday to Saturday. The 2026 calendar lists weeks from June 6 through October 3, advertised at $18,000 a week, with bookings taken on request through Miller and Co. at Compass.
