Ulster County carries the parcel as 54.2-2-43: three acres in the Town of Marbletown, a house of 1968, conveyed at liber 6759, page 270. The mailing address says Kingston. The tax roll says Marbletown, the hamlet is Lapla, and the school district is Rondout Valley. What the roll does not record is the rebuild. The 1968 single-story plan now runs 2,961 square feet under pine beams milled from trees cut on the property, walled in fieldstone and glazed with black-framed Marvin Elevate windows that reach the gardens from the living room, the bedrooms and the baths. A stone fireplace holds the center of the house. The work went to the bones: footing drains, foundation and insulation improvements, new electrical and plumbing, Mitsubishi heating and cooling, radiant heat in selected rooms, and a GAF Timberline roof laid in 2024.
