The public record for parcel 4237-010-023, filed under Los Angeles County, enters 2,364 finished square feet and reads the style as Duplex, where the MLS type reads single family. That is 808 plus 1,556, the cottage and the building behind it. The same record dates the parcel to 1922 and marks a renovation year of 1925. The zoning is LAR2. A studio and office compound, a workspace, or a permitted change of use are all decided on paper rather than on the ground.
Crestmoore Place runs between Oakwood and Grandview. Coeur D'Alene Avenue Elementary, which serves the house, is a tenth of a mile off, and the sand is a bike ride.
