85 North 3rd Street #204

Known as The Mill Building, this brown-brick factory at the corner of North 3rd and Wythe was built for the Hinds & Ketcham Lithography Company and ran as a printing works for the better part of a century before Fifield Piaker Elman Architects converted it to 62 loft condominiums in 2009. The ground floor of the building now houses Ralph Lauren's RRL, a fitting second act for a block that once printed Brooklyn's labels and posters.
