Barcode House

The house stands among old trees on the Prinz-Ludwigs-Höhe, a villa colony in Solln, in the south of Munich. The listing describes the plot as park-like, with mature trees, an orchard meadow of apple trees, terraces and garden rooms that carry the architecture outdoors.

Seen from the lawn, the front is three floors of glass and stainless steel, with a stepped band of quilted steel across the ground floor. Beside it stands a red strip with red-framed windows, then a strip clad in wood. In spring the apple trees come into blossom in front of all of it.
