Loft in the Woods

Loft in the Woods sits on top of a hill above Greenwood Lake, on the New York side of the state line where the lake splits it with New Jersey. The cabin is 1970s in origin and fully renovated, taken down to a minimalist interior that leaves the windows in charge.

The sightline runs over Greenwood Lake and across to Sterling Forest, the 22,000 acre state park on the far shore. Lakes, trails, breweries and vineyards are a short drive in every direction, and the city is about an hour away.

It sleeps four and books by the night on Airbnb, with no cleaning fee.
