840 Broadway #10
840 Broadway #10 is a full-floor prewar loft in a building Robert Maynicke designed in 1901 for the garment trade, now in contract at $3,980,000. Roughly 3,000 square feet, ten floors above Broadway, with sky-high ceilings on the original columns, a block from Union Square, delivered as a renovation-ready canvas.

Maynicke modeled the Broadway entrance on the door of the Erechtheion on the Athenian Acropolis; the garment lofts upstairs were picketed in the 1909 Shirtwaist Strike, the Uprising of the 20,000. The city made the building an individual landmark in 2019. It has been a residential co-op, Burnham House, since 1970.
